Below are a few helpful links to help make the transition into your property go more smoothly. We’ve also put together a few tips that can be used as a reference during your stay. Each company has different policies and may require a deposit. It is recommended to call in advance to request start or end service dates. UTILITIES

This is the contact information for the utilities you may be responsible for. If you have any questions about putting the utilities into or taking them out of your name, feel free to contact our office.

This is the company that will provide your electricity utility. The electricity account will need to be put into your name effective the first day of your lease agreement. You are responsible for transferring the service and for any and all fees associated with the transfer. You are also responsible for having the electricity taken out of your name effective the last day of your lease agreement. Please request the electricity account to be transferred back into our name/owner name, NOT disconnected.

MOVE IN PROCEDURE

Please contact our office to schedule a time to do a joint move in inspection of your residence on the first day of your lease. Be sure that all appropriate utilities have been transferred into your name. All paperwork must be signed and all required funds must be paid before keys will be turned over to any tenants.

MOVE OUT PROCEDURE

Please contact our office to schedule a time to do a joint move out inspection of your residence on or before the last day of your lease. Be sure that all appropriate utilities have been transferred back into our company name/owner name. All keys to the residence and mailbox (if applicable) will need to be turned in at this time. Completing a Forwarding Address Form is required for the mailing of the security deposit settlement. CLICK HERE to obtain the Forwarding Address Form. We have 45 days from the date you move out of the residence to process your security deposit.
